Reveal2026PublicAnnouncement and trailer from BULKHEAD and Team17

BULKHEAD expects 12 to 24 months in Early Access, with the length driven by player feedback — so expect a steady patch cadence rather than a handful of big drops.

What gets tracked here

Each entry will cover the five things that actually change how a match plays:

  • Weapon balance — damage, recoil, muzzle velocity and, crucially, price
  • Vehicles — handling, armour, cost, and availability per map
  • Control Zone scoring — zone size, Hot Zone behaviour, point rates
  • Cash economy — earn rates per action, loadout costs, Gold Bar conversion
  • Maps, performance and anti-cheat — new ground, optimisation, Easy Anti-Cheat changes

Why prices are patch notes in this game

In most shooters, balance patches change a gun’s numbers. In WARDOGS they can change its price instead — and that is the same thing.

Because you buy a loadout before every life from a balance that persists between matches, a weapon that costs 30% more is a weapon fewer people bring, regardless of its damage. The same applies to vehicles: a tank whose price moves is a tank that shows up more or less often, which changes what infantry needs to buy to answer it.

What is not known yet

Worth stating plainly rather than guessing at:

  • No dated public roadmap. BULKHEAD has given an Early Access window, not a milestone calendar.
  • Fighter jets are planned during Early Access, not at launch — no date announced.
  • Patch cadence is unannounced. Weekly, fortnightly or ad-hoc are all still open.
  • Map count beyond launch has not been detailed past the initial three (with three variations each).

This page updates as builds ship. Anything drawn from a test build rather than a released one is labelled as such.
